Paper objects in the Paper Mario World actually have the same properties as their real life counterparts a paper person has the same properties as a real person but can still be cut up by Things Are Meant to cut up paper. So a tree has the same properties as a real tree therefor mario's hammer has the properties of a wooden mallet. Also paper mario is probably like only 3ft tall

Hey Kyle, I am planning to make this. I had one question though. Since the graphite powder approach did not work can I skip it entirely? Or is it still needed for texture? Please answer, thanks.

What about weight? Making guts cosplay so your video is life-saving thing. For my performance I'll have to swing around it a bit, is this build strong enough for some good swings? And thank you for guide, how I said earlier, it's a life-saving thing for me

    • @pietud9697

Interesting, I only ever saw the flute from the pixely image in game so I always imagined the pokeball part being a hollow resonator like the Liebesfuss on an Oboe d’Amore or a Cor Anglais. Though it would be a nightmare to build I’d love to see a hollow ball resonator pokeflute one day. I imagine the timbre would be heavenly.
